Equality and Diversity

We are an Equal Opportunities Employer. We are committed to the principle of equal opportunities in employment and our employment policies for recruitment, selection, training, development and promotion are designed to ensure that no job applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of race, colour, nationality, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, marriage and civil partnership status, age, ethnic and national origin, disability or gender reassignment.

We are proud to be a Disability Confident Committed employer. This means we will offer an interview to any disabled person who meets the criteria for a vacancy. If you feel you are eligible for this scheme, please ensure you indicate this on your application, in the additional information section of the application form.

Our 5-step Recruitment Process

Create a profile. Read through the advert and check out our website. Make sure the role's right for you and you have the right levels of experience. Then register and create a profile; the details you put in will be pulled through with any applications you make.

Apply online. Start the online application process. This will take around 10-20 minutes. Remember to add any supporting statements you want to your application, and to upload a CV before submitting your details.

Shortlisting. Once you have completed and submitted your application, you will receive an email to the address you have provided (make sure you check your junk folder and mark us as a safe sender). We will then go through our shortlisting process and will aim to advise you of your progress within 2 weeks of the application closing date. If you have been successful, we will invite you to the next stage of the process.

Assessment. We use a variety of different assessment methods, and depending on the position applied for you could be asked to

  • Attend an interview
  • Visit an Assessment Centre
  • Prepare a presentation or complete a task
  • Complete a personality profile

Whichever assessment process you are asked to follow, you will be given plenty of time to prepare. These interview processes are based upon LFC's values and vision. They are designed to help us understand if you will be successful in the club, and to help you understand what working at Liverpool Football Club is really like.

Result. We aim to get back to all of our applicants in a timely manner. If required, we will provide feedback to those that have attended an interview with us.
