Atletico Madrid have not yet received an offer for Theo Hernandez, their president Enrique Cerezo has revealed.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are said to be interested in landing Atletico’s left-back Hernandez.

Liverpool have also emerged as suitors of the 19-year-old.

Hernandez is currently on loan at La Liga side Alaves but is expected to break into the Atletico first team next season.

He supposedly has a release clause of £20.5million.

But Cerezo says no bids have yet come in, claiming tomorrow’s Madrid derby has inflated the reports.

"These rumours always surface whenever there is a derby coming up - it's always the same and I wish people would be a little more serious about these things,” he told Spanish newspaper AS.

“We are not going to waste any time on this situation.

“No club has approached us for Theo, not about the buy-out clause or anything.

“We don't know anything about it.

“If Real Madrid ask us about Theo they will be given a very swift and enthusiastic response - Theo is our player, an Atlético player who is on loan at Alavés but who belongs to us.”
