Monday night's Premier League clash against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium will be Jürgen Klopp's sixth encounter with the Welsh club since his appointment as Liverpool manager in October 2015.

During that time, the Reds boss has faced four different Swansea managers - Garry Monk, Francesco Guidolin, Paul Clement and Leon Britton (caretaker) - with latest incumbent Carlos Carvalhal appointed just two days after the clubs last met, in December.

Here's how Klopp's side have fared in five meetings with the Swans...

Klopp's Reds on the rise

Not the most thrilling game this one, but a good one for Klopp as the new Reds boss picked up his first league win at Anfield and captain Jordan Henderson returned from injury.

James Milner's winning penalty, which was awarded after Neil Taylor handled Jordon Ibe's cross, was the 103rd scored by Liverpool in the Premier League era - more than any other club.

The victory moved the Reds up to sixth in the table.

Young stars struggle at Swansea

The German boss fielded Liverpool's youngest side of the Premier League era, with an average age of 23.6 years, as he made eight changes for a match that was sandwiched between the two legs of the Europa League semi-final against Villarreal.

Christian Benteke netted his 50th league goal, but the spoils went to the hosts.

Spot-on Milner sinks Swansea

After a slow first half, in which the Reds failed to have a single shot on target for the first time in the Premier League that season, Roberto Firmino pulled out a man-of-the-match performance to earn his side three points.

The Brazilian scored and then earned the match-winning penalty as Liverpool beat Francesco Guidolin's Swansea to claim a fourth consecutive league victory.

Milner's fourth spot-kick of the season moved Liverpool up to second in the Premier League.

Bobby's brace not enough at Anfield

Roberto Firmino's brace saw Liverpool become the first side to score 50 goals in the 2016-17 Premier League season but in the end it counted for nought.

Gylfi Sigurdsson poached a winner for Paul Clement's Swansea in a seesaw encounter at Anfield as Klopp's side suffered their first home league defeat in over a year.

Firmino double leads Reds rampage

Klopp said his team were a "joy to watch" after Liverpool smashed five past Swansea City on a day when Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain both notched their first Anfield goals.

Firmino was the star of the show, though, with a second-half brace to take his attacking haul under Klopp to 39 goals and 25 assists - more than any other player in that time.

It was also the fourth time during the 2017-18 season that Liverpool had scored five goals or more in a game. Only Manchester City could match that in the Premier League.
