Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino could return to Liverpool's starting line-up at Stoke City on Wednesday, Jürgen Klopp has confirmed.

Both forwards began Saturday's 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Anfield on the bench as the boss made five changes to his team for the visit of Antonio Conte's side.

However, Klopp hinted during his pre-Stoke press conference on Tuesday that Mane and Firmino are in line to play at the Bet365 Stadium.

"Probably, but they’re not the only two," he replied, when asked if the duo can be expected to be in his XI versus the Potters.

"We had to make a few changes, it makes absolute sense in this part of the season to use the strength of the squad, that means if you involve players you have to leave a few others out and that’s what we did.

"But it’s not completely unlikely that they will start."
