Liverpool could be without Emre Can for Saturday's clash with Chelsea but Joel Matip and Adam Lallana are both showing 'good signs' in their respective recoveries from injury, Jürgen Klopp said on Friday.

Midfielder Can sustained a minor muscular problem after coming off the bench in the Reds' Champions League draw with Sevilla in midweek and Klopp has revealed that the No.23 is a 'doubt' for this weekend's match.

There was more positive news on Matip (knock) and Lallana (thigh), though.

"Adam is on his way, no doubt about that. We have to see how we will handle this in the next few days and weeks," the boss told his pre-match press conference.

"Joel trained yesterday for the first time with the team and, again, we have to to see as well. But both give good signs - nothing else to say about that in the moment."

Klopp's opposite number Antonio Conte, meanwhile, confirmed in his own media briefing that former Liverpool loanee Victor Moses has recovered from a hamstring injury and will be on the visitors' bench at Anfield.

Conte will, however, be without Michy Batshuayi (ankle), Kenedy (muscle) and Charly Musonda (knee).
