Reds stars Joel Matip and Kevin Stewart paid a special visit to the Liverpool FC Foundation's new disability programme in Anfield on Tuesday.

The initiative, launched by BT and the Premier League in conjunction with the club’s official charity, will run for three years and aims to create opportunities and inspire disabled people through sport.

The duo visited Anfield Sports and Community Centre, where they met participants and joined in with the activities, including accessible football and multi sports as well as a music and DJ session.

Andrea Cooper, head of LFC Foundation, said: “We are really excited to be working alongside the Premier League and BT on their disability programme. The Foundation has provided a programme designed for people with complex and additional needs across Merseyside for many years, so we have a great foundation to build upon.”
